We have had a lot of feedback from people who said they would rather see the V-Lock powder coated white to blend into the sides of the boat.
Here they are.
Note: only the base units are available in powder coat.
V-Lock Distributor in Australia
Cool Mobility has signed up to be V-Lock distributor in Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia.
We are taking the V-Lock to the Commercial Marine Expo in New Bedford, Mass next month to see what applications there might be outside of recreational boating.
Nuts and Bolts of Fishing and Boating
Captain Cefus McRae takes a look at the V-Lock on his FSN fishing show.
Bob Bitchin of Latitudes and Attitudes first saw the V-Lock at the Saint Petersburg Boat show. His first impression on just seeing a V-Lock and listening to my description was not great, but after he stopped by our booth and saw all the applications he got it and he liked it.
It was cold by Miami standards but that did not stop thousands of people from attending the show. Being an international show it was great to get a response to the V-Lock from people abroad. A lot of V-Locks are now heading to Canada, South America and the Caribbean.
Atlanta Boat Show
The Atlanta boat show was our first mostly fresh water event and it was a huge success. The V-Lock was well recieved by the boaters on Lake Lanier and the surrounding area.
We had a great time at the boat show here in our home city and learned a lot about how the V-Lock applies to wind powered boats. We also established some important relationships with well known people in the sailing world.
The V-Lock debut at the Tampa Boat Show was an outstanding success! Almost everyone who took a minute to see what the V-Lock can do thought it was a great idea.
We had a great time and a lot of interest and positive feedback on the V-Lock at IBEX in Miami. We did not win the Innovation award probably because the V-Lock is more of an aftermarket product and IBEX is a boat builders show. We will try again at next years MAATS show
